Really sad that "StarGladiator" feels that way. Brokaw brought us the story of The Greatest Generation, the brave men and women who fought in World War II and those who kept the home fires burning. And having a sister who died of the same disease, multiple myeloma, about four years ago, I can assure you that this is a hellish, excruciatingly painful, and particularly pernicious cancer. Brokaw doesn't need the money or the PR from this book. He wanted to share his story. Just about everyone has been touched by cancer, directly or not, so it's generous of him to share his experience.
