What's so great about this book? Well, it's Carole King's autobiography! She starts with her childhood, talks of her young marriage to Gerry Goffin and tells the painful truth about her other marriages. I loved the stories about her songwriting days, and where such hits as "Locomotion", "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" and "Natural Woman" came from. I knew she started writing hits as a teen (though not just how young) but I never knew she was shy and reluctant to perform her own music until years later she was convinced to. Along the way, there are stories about James Taylor, John Lennon and Aretha Franklin to entertain. Recommended by Linda
