The final book in Moore's Vampire Trilogy--preceded by "Bloodsucking Fiends" and "You Suck." This is the weakest of the three books, but it's still very funny. The book begins with a 20-page review of the series so far, a wasted section for those of us who have eagerly read the first two books. At the heart of the conflict is Chet, the huge cat who was introduced in the previous book. Chet is now a vampire cat with his own fangy army, and he must be stopped before he clears all of the street people out of San Francisco. We get too much of Abby Normal and not enough hilarious Tommy--Jody situations in this book, but I was still hooked to the very end. The funniest parts: Abby's "I'm a Nosferatu now" scene; various scenes with Foo, Jared, and the rats; and Jared's over-caffeinated, bronze-smashing dance.
