Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man

What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment
Nov 26, 2016Pen__ rated this title 5 out of 5 stars
Having read literally hundreds of self help books, from survivors, to men, communication, relationship... You name it, I rank this at the top with Ellen Kreidman's "Light His Fire" and "Light Her Fire", and "LifeMates " by Harold H. Bloomfield M.D. , and " When I say No I feel Guilty" by Manuel J. smith PhD I have often watched Steve Harvey speak about dating, men, and what works with men. I read this book, in 2 days, it is easy to read, simply stated, based on his years of experience observing and working with men, and his own life. It all rings true. I wish I had read this as a teen or even pre teen girl! He gives clear easy to understand examples, (which at 54 I can see all the classic mistakes I have made over the years, ), facts, all very basic and simple to understand. He gives questions and guidelines use for our selection process. He give great suggestions on everythng from dress style to when and hw to approach important topics. I am so glad I read this. It has already changed my perspective when dealing with men. I have always been clueless, and felt powerless. I now feel informed and empowered to make better well informed decisions, and choices in how I present myself, what I will and will not accept, to how I interpret the actions and conversation of the men. I suggest this book for anyone intersted in dating and understanding men, what drives them , how they think, operate, and how to get the best out of a good relationship with a good man.
