Watchable but not phenomenal. Animation on the cat is overdone. No cat's fur moves so much. You kinda could see from the trailer who the villian is, but the why might surprize you. And how it resolves was a bit surprizing, too.

I watched it through, and only 1 in about 12 make it past 5 minutes.

Cute film, although I did not like the spooky dolls in the antique store. A tad "chucky" there...
Otherwise the story line was good. Happy ending, and I'm told this is the last Toy Story so glad for the lovey ending.

Didn't expect much from a third sequel, and TS4 started out in very familiar narrative territory. But it became ever-more Baroque as the story progressed until it felt like a completely unique film. Perfectly executed in every respect.

This is an excellent sequel that has it all--adventure, humor, emotion, romance, stunning animation, existential crisis...this movie is very creative and entertaining. I highly recommend it for the whole family!

Sooner or later a story about toy dolls is going to incorporate ventriloquist dolls. This is that story. My 7 and 10 year olds found it creepy and not very good. My 7 y/o actually didn't care to see it after the first showing, which is saying something. At that age, they can repeat watch films several times. He said it was 'creepy and weird'. My 10 y/o also didn't - which is less of a surprise, but, you know, not a great indicator. I didn't see it, but just a note of caution to parents, particularly of younger children: check out the trailer first.

Sorry, folks--I loved Toy Story I &II, enjoyed III, but I had to stop #4 after 30 minutes; I couldn't take another minute of Mr Spork, and the way the movie was going it looked like he was going to be a part of the rest of the movie. Let the young and undiscerning watch this one. Adults who enjoy great story lines and older humor mixed in with the juvenile would be better off waiting for something better (or check out the first "Incredibles" if you missed it the first time around).

Another wonderful Pixar movie-- the quality of the story, voice cast, animation are all topnotch. The film is funny, moving, exciting and appropriate for both older kids and adults.
