> The book was AWESOME! I rated it 5/5.
> This movie (surprisingly because it's not usually the case) stayed very true to the book and all the characters was exactly like I imagined them when I was reading the book. But no movie can keep up to a book so I rate this 4.5/5!
> My favourite characters in the movie was probably Via and Justin.
> I think that whoever watches the movie or reads the book really HAS TO read "Auggie and Me" by R.J. Palacio. It contains three short stories that adds a lot to all the characters, and I feel like Wonder is incomplete without those stories. So I kinda wish they put those stories in the movie, but I guess they couldn't do all that. Also, anyone who read the book noticed Chris wasn't in the movie (Auggie's bf)?

I waited so long to see this because I thought it would be saccharine and overly sentimental, but it managed to hit all the right notes without being sickly sweet. I hate Owen Wilson, but the cast was so good together even he didn't bother me. Excellent story and really well done. A must see!

Better than your average teen and pre-teen school story. I liked how it often took turns focusing on some of the other characters, explaining their backstories. A feel-good movie of sorts.

A well done movie if predictable.

This movie teaches us so much. How to stand up for our selves, how to look over other people's oppienens, how not every one dose not have to like you, for a few good friends is just right, treat people how you want to be treated, and over all, choose kind!

If you have children, this movie is a must. If you don't, it's still a must. A film doesn't have to be "difficult" to offer important social lessons, and if it's also the very definition of "heartwarming," even better.

Recommended. Especially good for family viewing. Good acting (Julia Roberts great as the mom; Jacob Tremblay, who was in "Room", the always likeable Owen Wilson as the dad). Read the book years ago & was glad to see a movie made. Uplifting.

Saw this as a pay-for-view and found it to be an excellent film. Nice to see strongly supportive parents, siblings and teachers in this uplifting scenario, based upon a true story of childhood angst and doubt.
Highly recommended. Great acting by the child (played by Jacob Tremblay), sister (played by Izabela Vidovic), mother and father (played by Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson).
This film credits New York and British Columbia. It does not credit Vancouver, B.C., as there was three scenes that I recognized Vancouver as part of the background. One beside the downtown Courthouse on Howe Street, another in Robson Square bronze sculpture by the Art Gallery, and the last one with a 14 Downtown bus coming toward the camera.
