A unforgettable trip to the paradise of the island of Haiti! One cannot expect a more enjoyable and breathtaking visit to any tropical island in the world. The documentary is fun and at the same time insightful. Not a bad combination! You may not believe your owns eyes and ears about what we have previously heard about Haiti!

A sweetly playful & humanizing portrait of a place that's been the victim of stubbornly bad press for going on a couple centuries now. Predictably the host initiates some kinda culturally awkward moments, but overall the footage is really upbeat & insightful & unique, & I thought his point was well taken when he asks why the popular imagination doesn't associate anything beautiful or luxurious with Haiti, only a dogged insistence on its poverty & chaos & desperation. There's ample evidence here to suggest that it's a Caribbean island like many others, just a whole lot cooler. Bonus material: rum sour waterfall...! CR
