I am surprised and saddened to see no one has written a review yet about this fantastic book which I absolutely adore. I read it post-surgery one winter and it completely transported me to the Mediterranean. Author Dave Shalleck takes the job as chef on a rich Italian couple's yacht. They have high culinary expectations and Shalleck is up to the challenge of cooking in a small galley. It's a culinary adventure as well as travel adventure. Truly an unforgettable armchair travel jewel. You will be craving Italian food and your own Mediterranean adventure.
