This book is simply smashing! But seriously folks...

A charming story that illustrates that first difficult truth in life that a child must except: you can't do what ever you like simply because you want to. I'm not sure if this is an illustration of the golden rule, the inverse of the golden rule (don't do unto others that which you wouldn't want them to do unto you), or the concept of the social contract. Whatever it is, it gets the point across. Come to think of it, I can think of a few adults who need to read this book.

Now if I could only get the car smashing song out of my head.
