I guess it needs to be clarified as to what is a Tony Home. Eleven hundred feet is not tiny in my book.

If you're looking for photos of tiny homes this is the book. If you're looking for interior photos or additional information beyond the exterior photos this is not that book.

Surveying North and South America, Europe and Japan, the architect-designed buildings in this compilation range in floor area from a truly tiny 86 sq. ft. to a spacious 2,422 sq. ft. with most about 1,000 sq. ft. The excellent photographs and brief notes are, generally, complemented with floor plans and sections with room name key. Life appears to be hazardous in Japan for kids and seniors where stairs and balconies lack balusters to prevent falls.

A book of beautiful, pristine, tiny homes for elitists perhaps.

I'd love to see and read about tiny homes that are actually being used, in real time, preferably by more than one person and that might truly inspire those with a more limited budget.

These homes (or at least the photos of them) somehow lack soul.
