"Becky, Harry, and Leon are leaving London in a fourth-hand Ford with a suitcase full of stolen money, in a mess of tangled loyalties and impulses. But can they truly leave the city that's in their bones?....Rich in character and restless in perspective, driven by ethics and empathy, it asks-and seeks to answer-how best to live with and love one another." -- page [2] book jacket

This book is a continuation of where the story left off from her album "Everybody Down". She is one of the most fantastic poets and song writers of my generation. This novel is not only a story, but it reads almost like a poem. I had to stop several times to drink up a sentence, because the words are that powerful. If one is not into "rap" music, reading her poetry books, "The Brand New Ancients" and "Hold Your Own" will open the doors to her heart felt and humbling mind. I also saw her preform her new album, "Let Them Eat Chaos" and it only reiterated my feelings. Do yourself a favor.
