An amazing science fiction adventure that chronicles the development of artificial intelligence and its complex and often violent interactions with humanity over one thousand years. All the while, the question asked at the beginning of the book remains unanswered until the end: What lies at the core of the planet Jupiter?

A definite must read for old-school and new-school science fiction fans.
