A great nonfiction alternative to the typical picture book for 4-8 year olds. We're enjoying some presidential history at home interspersed with other night time reading. This turned out to be a perfect read in that it was informative and entertaining, especially the illustrations and quick factoids (we didn't know that Lincoln's dog Fido was the first photographed presidential pet). We chose to read this over two nights, pre and post election life. Thumbs up!
