I don't have much of a decorative flair, but I can definitely lift some ideas from these gorgeous photographs.

One my favorite looks is a wall on which many sizes and shapes of ceiling medallions were affixed with caulking and the wall and medallions then painted white. Stunning.

There is also a picture of the colors I would use in my dream kitchen: black and white. What pulled it together was probably about a $10 rug that is black , white and red. It just goes to show that an inexpensive article can pull a look together.

This is a book I will be checking-out more than once.

Amazing and eclectic style. Not cookie cutter design for the wealthy that most books ascribe to.
