This is a really excellent piece of kids' nonfiction tackling a tricky topic very adeptly. The information is framed as a series of options for achieving immortality, which is actually a very smart way to organize this. It tackles everything from the philosopher's stone to the fountain of youth to real-life communities of extraordinarily long-lived people. The information itself is really interesting -- I kept reading little tidbits aloud to my roommate -- and the illustrations and overall design are incredibly appealing. Recommended for kids and adults alike.
