It's quite clever idea. I actually didn't recognise a couple of the rhymes it referenced though so my son was a bit unsure of a few, but overall it's easy to read aloud, catchy and a whole new way to look at the nursery rhymes of the past. Humpty dumpty and the cow tripping over the moon were cool, and the dish and spoon on each page is something else to follow/find on the page for young kids. I'm still trying to explain pop goes the weasle to my son from the last page....I can't remember the song except for that one line and that is totally unacceptable (he's 3) so maybe brush up on the nursery rhymes, our son loved the baby in the bough falling in to the compost heap and I actually remembered that one so sang it to him while he went to sleep after reading the book, it was handy that night!
