Add a CommentI really didn't know how this series was going to end, but I did like the ending. Charlie and Michael, who is a ghost have been a very strange relationship from the beginning of this series. When Michael's twin brother, who he didn't know he had, shows up, Charlie thinks that he could be the serial killer. While meeting with him at the prison, a fire breaks out and some of the prisoners on death row escape along with hostages. Michael still tries to protect Charlie from them. Their relationship grows and they realize they love each other, but will Michael get sucked back into Spookville, as he calls it. If you have been reading this series, then you have to read this last book. I did enjoy it very much.
This book had an interesting story line that concluded the 4-book Dr. Charlotte Stone series but it was buried in all the pages describing how handsome, hot, sexy and dangerous Michael is. The book could have been about a hundred pages shorter if Robards took out all the repetition.
I loved the whole series. I couldn't figure out what would happen. Loved the ending. It seemed unrealistic but it was written so well that you get sucked in there withe story.
not a fan of paranormal, but like the Charlie Stone character
I was so looking forward to something good and new from her but unfortunately the paranormal is just not for me. I could not get past chapter two. Her earlier books were so much better. What happens to some authors? Is it just time to crank out another novel? Not recommended at all.
This is a bit different from anything I have ever read and I loved it. It has romance, suspense and a paranormal touch. Lots of twists and turns
