Blending the gritty, fast pace of murder investigations with the warmth and chaos of family life, Blue Murder is a fresh take on modern day policing set in contemporary Manchester. DCI Janine Lewis,+ who is passionately committed to her work and her family, is back after her maternity leave. She is still split with wayward husband Pete and now with a newborn baby has four children to look after. She has a new live-in nanny on hand to help as she strives to balance the responsibilities of her pressured career with the demands of her home life.

I wish this series would come back again. One one of the best British series to date. Couldn't get enough.
Anything with Caroline Quentin is worth watching. As to be expected, in the first episode all the characters are finding their legs...by the end of the second episode you'll be hooked.
