Most evenings in Buenos Aires, 'Elvis' Gutierrez is a star, his singing and stage presence bring back to life the King of Rock and Roll in all his glory. By day, though, Gutierrez slaves away at a dead-end factory job and endures the scorn of his ex-wife. Only his young daughter, Lisa Marie, brings any joy outside of his Elvis tribute gigs. Feeling more connected to his stage persona than to the world around him, Gutierrez retreats from reality until a tragic accident forces him to grapple with his real-world responsibilities.

I actually loved this way more than I expected. The main character's transformation from playing Elvis to becoming Elvis is subtle and, by the end, complete.

Amazing acting from the lead, a sweaty, overweight latin american Elvis impersonator on the fringes of society. The actor gets Elvis' voice spot on when he sings, which is because he is a real-life Elvis impersonator.

This wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, it is far from being good. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.
