This is the remix version, NOT the original and is horrible. Adding a cheesy 80's pop vibe to all these songs is a crime! I didn't see the rarities edition under details, actually didn't know it existed until I listened to it. If you are buying this album used, make sure the back is a white cover and says 1984 on it. You will most likely be getting a 1990 or 93 pressing from Canada and will be remastered by Barry Diament, and is amazing! This remix version is 1/2 star album, the original is 5 stars!

The classic reggae tracks created by Bob Marley and the Wailers are included within this disc and that is the only reason why I like it. I'm not a fan of the remixes but the original songs that will stick with me forever, that promote happiness, peace, and freedom. The original messages that Bob stood for about wisdom and soul over silver and gold, all these things are incorporated into his music and it's the reason why I love it so much. My top three favorite tracks in the legend in order from first to last include "Could you be loved","Jamming","One love". I'll always support Bob Marley and his message, I find it unfortunate that nowa days he's looked at and up to only for his perspective on marijuana instead of the important things he stood for. - @magicsoup of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

I Love Bob Marley but LEGEND is NOT THE BEST of Bob... Listen to these songs on the albums that they came out on, Dems Da Best! In comparison, these tracks sound 'Radio Friendly', almost whitewashed in a way. I hate to say that but any true fan or Rasta will know what i'm sayin is true. This is the only Bob Marley album not in my collection.

Perhaps one of the best albums of the 20th Century!

Featuring such classics as Jamming, Three Little Birds, and my personal favourite No Woman No Cry.

What do you say about the biggest reggae album of all time? Well, as amazing as it is, just remember it's only a small selection of Bob Marley's work that does not include many of his more explicitly Rastafari and political songs--and nothing at all from the album Survival! Don't settle for someone else's choice: check out the full albums. It's worth it.
