By far my least favorite marvel movie to date. It's slow, convoluted, and is just trying too hard. I will admit that there are some funny parts in it and some moments where I was actually entertained, but overall I was not impressed and have no intention of rewatching it anytime soon. Very glad I didn't pay to see it in theaters.

While the Mandarin reveal is a little shocking, I still find it an enjoyable movie. Robert Downy Jr. shines as Stark and the after effects of the Avengers are well done. The final battle is wonderful fun. A good MCU film that works well enough to be a good ride.

Forgetable, still a good movie. Just not good comparable to the rest of the MCU. reginator is right, Mandarin would have been great to keep as a future and legitimate villain.

I thought this movie was a little better than Iron Man 2. Wished they kept the Mandarin as a legit villain. Oh well!?!

I enjoyed this movie much more than others. Obviously it was not better than the first (one of the best marvel movies) but delivered a good Iron Man story and villain (another thing many people disagree about). I definitely thought they could do better having Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin, but i still thought it was a decent Marvel movie.

As usual, Robert Downey Jr. plays as Tony Stark/Iron man, so nothing new there. There is a new character called Harley (Ty Simpkins) who helped Tony when he came to Manhattan unintentionally after the chaos happened at his home, caused by the Mandarin. The plot is just someone wanting to get revenge on Iron Man, which is really not surprising as well. What was new to me was that in this movie he didn’t spend too much time in a suit. Rather, he spent most of his time without the suit since, Jarvis was at Harley’s place charging himself. So Tony had to rely on his hand sensor and VR thing (not sure what it was) to control his suit. Eventually, Jarvis was done charging up, and then came to help out Tony. There was so much more conflict in the movie but I will stop right here. Overall, this movie was breathtakingly amazing.

In Iron Man 3, the brilliant and arrogant billionaire, Tony Stark, makes a third appearance as Iron Man. His enemy in this movie is a villain named “Mandarin”. A cool point to note is that Stark does not need his entire suit to fight, but rather he can call for pieces of it to help. Rather than extreme firepower and utilizing the power of the Iron Man suit, in this movie, the primary focus is on the abilities of Stark himself, and we see his intelligence in action. Nonetheless, the movie does not lack action. For example, in the end, the final battle consists of intense action as Iron Man and others fight in an all out firefight.

Wowsers! What a ride! Not much plot really, but who watches a Marvel Comic for the plot? CGI effects were great as was RDJ - actually, he was really, really good - and we enjoyed Guy Pearce as well. Ben Kingsley was wonderful as usual, and never having read the comic books, we thought he did a brilliant job as the Mandarin. Thrill a minute escapism - don't expect anything more.

My armor was never a distraction or a hobby, it was a cocoon, and now I'm a changed man. You can take away my house, all my tricks and toys, but one thing you can't take away - I am Iron Man.

Happy Hogan (skyping to Tony about about Aldrich Killian and his henchman): "...There's a giant brain, there's a shifty character -- I'm gonna follow this guy. I'm gonna run his plates, and I'm gonna... y'know, if it gets rough, so be it." Tony Stark: "I miss ya, Happy." Happy Hogan: "I miss you too. But the way it used to be. Now you're off with the "Super-Friends"; I don't know what's going on with you anymore."

(After Tony Stark has ignited a flammable container in a restaurant, which Brandt, impervious to the flames, walks right through) Stark: "You walked right into this one -- I've dated hotter chicks than you." Brandt: "...That's all you got? A cheap trick and a cheesy one-liner?" Tony Stark: "Sweetheart, that could be the name of my autobiography." (Tony bolts as the camera pans to a set of dog-tags getting microwaved near a wide-open natural gas line)
