"If anyone knew the truth about Beth Risk's home life, they'd send her mother to jail and seventeen-year-old Beth who knows where. So she protects her mom at all costs. Until the day her uncle swoops in and forces Beth to choose between her mom's freedom and her own happiness. That's how Beth finds herself living with an aunt who doesn't want her and going to a school that doesn't understand her. At all. Except for the one guy who shouldn't get her, but does...Ryan Stone is the town golden boy, a popular baseball star jock--with secrets he can't tell anyone. Not even the friends he shares everything with, including the constant dares to do crazy things. The craziest? Asking out the Skater girl who couldn't be less interested in him. But what begins as a dare becomes an intense attraction neither Ryan nor Beth expected. Suddenly, the boy with the flawless image risks his dreams--and his life--for the girl he loves, and the girl who won't let anyone get too close is daring herself to want it all..."--Dust jacket

NEW FAV BOOK AHHHH AHHHH AHHHH AHHH AH ok so this book is so full of imperfection but that's exactly what made it so perfect and so real. I never wanted this book to end; it took me two days to read but that's because I had to stop occasionally bc I wasn't ready for it to be over. I prolonged it as long as possible but I was so attached that I had to keep going. I felt like this book was a part of me, I formed a true connection with the characters and I felt like I was living in every situation, that I was there too. This book is amazing and I am now in awe and left w the question, what's fiction??? This was the truest book I've ever laid eyes on and I highly encourage everyone to read it !!!
P.s. Guys take notes, Ryan shows you exactly how a girl should be treated (minus the beginning dare lol)

I love love love this book! I love the suspense and love how Beth acts all tough and try to push Ryan away. But in the end, she can't stay away from him. I think the author choice of having the book have Ryan and Beth's perspective is an awesome choice. I would recommend this book for anybody who loves romance and suspence

Very well written! Wish the author didn't have the two main characters go all the way tho. So not necessary.

I loved this book, it was so fast paced and exciting to read. It's very well written. My only complaint is that there were limited themes, and that they were almost the same as in the first book - Pushing the Limits.

""Fairy-tales happen, just not to me. Time to tell the prince he rescued the wrong girl." Tough, tattooed skater girl Beth is sure that perfect baseball star Ryan won't stay interested in her once he understands just how messed up she is. After all, she wouldn't even have moved to Ryan's town if she hadn't gotten into trouble for protecting her drug-addicted mum. But as their secret relationship gets more serious - and more steamy - Beth starts to realise that she and Ryan might be more alike than she suspected. If you like gritty, emotionally intense reads, you'll fall for this gripping love story."
