i don't usually read psychological thrillers, but a friend recommended this and so I gave it a try. This is a very good book that tells the story of the struggle for one man's soul through his trial for the murder of his wife. The death was a suicide, but it causes him to question himself and his life. Excellent reading.

Though interesting, Cook's last five books have centered on women an the thrust appears more as academic tool in english then his prior mystery books
