Always love a modern take on a classic. Still loved every character as much as I did the original. The sex scenes were a little too often.

A funny pisatche. Having Darcey be a rock star and Lizzy and Jane as a up-and-coming girl group is perfect. The Behind the Music segments were very well done to explain Darcey's coldness. I liked this modernization of P&P, especially the improvements to Charlotte's character, but it is true the sex scenes are unnecessarily long and frequent.

I love P&P adaptations, and I enjoyed seeing the different way that this one was done. The constant obscenities and graphic sex made this book much less enjoyable for me.

I've never read Pride and Prejudice (I know, I know) just could never get into Austen's writing. This book, however, sucked me in from the start. I can read it again and again without it getting old. The writing and dialogue is fresh; the music is perfect, even though I can't actually hear it; the characters are human and beloved; the plot is great and never leaves me questioning. I especially love the prologue and epilogue format of a television format. It says a lot without giving anything away which is extraordinarily difficult to do. Love this book!

One of the better modern adaptations. It downplays Lizzy's family, but has a very whimsical take on Bingley. I rather enjoyed it.
