Season Two was just as absorbing for me as the first. William Forsythe was an excellent evil addition to the lineup. Quite the mind-blowing unexpected way to wrap things up in the last episode. FIVE STARS.

Just average compared to say Game of Thrones and Borgias.

Every bit as good as the first season-what a surprise at the end!

I thought Season One was just so-so but Season Two is amazing. The characters deepen and the plot builds dramatically ending with a loud bang.Quite possibly the best show on the air right now.

Looks like big trouble ahead for Nucky in season three.

The battle for control of Atlantic City and especially control of the illegal alcohol trade begins in earnest in the second season of Boardwalk Empire. Members of the inner circle have betrayed Nucky and turned state's evidence against him for election fraud. Jimmy is made the de facto head of his father's cabal that is trying to take back control of Altantic City and the lucrative liquor trade. Margaret makes contact with her brother and sister who have moved to Brooklyn from Ireland. Nucky is thankful for his good fortune even though he is forced from political office. Once out of office Nucky takes a trip to Ireland looking for help from the Sinn Fein. The second season of Boardwalk Empire is full of violence as well as political and personal intrigue.
