VERY GOOD 1960 western drama featuring Elvis Presley demonstrating his considerable acting talent. HIs future movies (like 1963's 'It Happened at World's Fair') were all in his romantic/pop flavor with lots of singing, etc.
I hadn't realized how good a dramatic actor Elvis was. The movie IS a bit grim due to it's plot and time setting - but well worth a watch.
