Vampire Knight manga is alright. I enjoyed the first couple books, but the plot soon gets very confusing and the graphics become hard to follow. There are fragmented scenes from varying events simultaneously happening and the overall effect, for me, was confusing and made me lose interest.

I really enjoyed this volume. The art is gorgeous and I like the thoughts that the author put into this book, such as the character designs and names. I also find it interesting that there are two different classes in the same school, and I look forward to seeing what will happen each volume with the two classes.

I have never seen the anime yet, however I will definitely watch it after completing this series.

I have to say, this is the first graphic novel I ever read, and it did not disappoint me. It was full of drama, mystery, and of course a love triangle between a school girl with a mysterious past, an age-old vampire and a doomed hunter. If you are ready to get hooked on a series, grab hold of Vampire Knight, no. 1, and read until your eyes bleed!

The Vampire Knight series is Ms. Hino's attempt at a gorey-twist of a school-life drama romance. Let vampires attend the same school of normal students, and what do you get? Despite how out there the plot is, I found myself really enjoying the read.

Vampire Knight by Matsuri Hino was an ‘okay’ manga. In my opinion I found Vampire Knight to be very confusing and slightly disturbing. The overall plot is about a young teenage girl named Yuki who attends a school that by day is a school for regular human beings but by night is a school for blood sucking vampires. Yuki herself is a human but she has friends that are vampires. She is a girl who cannot remember much about her past, but it becomes known by her that a certain vampire that shows a lot of interest in her knows everything about her past. The story overall is good and the artwork for the manga is spectacular. However, I found myself reading the manga and scratching my head a few times during some parts, especially in the beginning. I personally wasn’t a huge fan of this series, however many friends of mine and people that I know really enjoyed the Vampire Knight series. In my opinion it was just okay, it was nothing special. I would like to warn though, that this series does contain content that is filled with violence and a lot of awkward and disturbing matter that made even me feel uncomfortable while reading it. I don’t think Vampire Knight is a read for the younger kids, however if your 13 and over you should be okay. Overall I would rate Vampire Knight by Matsuri Hino a 6/10, it was an alright manga, but you could definitely find something better to read.

This has to be one of my favorite manga ever. I'm up to volume 9 I believe. I bought my manga volumes though. I think it's a great addition to any comic/manga collection. Matsuri Hino's art is beautiful and so detailed. The story will draw you in as well with unexpected twists. If you like vampires you will love Vampire Knight.
