This movie had the potential to be horrendous, but it's really not that bad. Sure it relies too heavily on gross humor and clichés, not to mention the plot is a little thin and that some of the story is absurb, while some is preachy. Hallie Kate Eisenberg was adorbs. The characters of Adam and Woody were humorous at times; equally, characters such as Joe and Twitch were sometimes difficult to watch.

Overall, I think this movie was hugely successful in targeting its audience and not diving too far into absurdity and irrelevance. How to Eat Fried Worms is not a great movie by any means, but it is a worthwhile family night entry.

This movie was awesome! I'm 18 years old and I watched it like 3 times in 7 days! The kids did such a great job acting their parts! I keep reciting lines from the movie - it was so good! ;)

A cute story that adds a modern twist to the old story. The kids love the gross out factor. Adding a focus on the school bully who has a background story makes this a story with a good lesson.
