Interesting. The results are pretty good given the technology available to the film makers. My favorite piece: "Making an electric light bulb", showing how they made early bulbs. There was a lot of human labor involved in those days, starting w/digging of the tungsten ore for making the filament right up to blowing and evacuating the glass. Other good ones are "Annie Oakley", in which you can see the actual Annie Oakley shooting targets with her rifle; and "Hazards of Gretchen", am apparently very popular suspense serial about a lady railroad telegraph operator, who is constantly saving the trains from certain destruction. Not surprisingly, given that the corporations understood the power of mass media, the most technologically sophisticated are the early advertising films. Even if only for the electric light bulb piece, recommended.
