This book is very interesting. My friend taught me this game on roblox called warrior cats, I started playing it and I heard people saying "Your name can't be named _____ its from the book." I decided to see the book, so i went to my school library and found it and start reading it. It wae very fun even though it may have the word 'blood' but it was still good. I really like this book its interesting, fun, and has fighting. Those are the things I love about warriors!

this book is so good!!!! This series is awesome. the second to last or last book Fireheart becomes clan leader. A kittypet becomes clan leader!!!! when they were apprentices, firepaw and graypaw were getting into all sorts of trouble. it's sad that later on ravenpaw had to leave because of tigerheart. I recommend this series to cat lovers. Even though i'm not a cat lover, this series is awesome. this series is better than the second series so far.i'm on the second series and i want to read twilight

I love cats! And this book just increased that love by 1000%. I like how they use names like "Monster" for cars and "Thunderpath" For roads!

My son was a reluctant reader, getting ready to go into third grade with abysmal Lexile scores. We tried every story, series, and method available, but he just wasn't reading. On a whim, I picked up a copy of this book when we were at the store, as it had a picture of a cat that looked vaguely like our own. I gave it to my son, thinking we would read it together in the coming weeks, as it was definitely too advanced for him to read alone. Over the next few days, he started telling me details about the book and the story of Rusty the kittypet. At first, I thought he was making it all up, but lo and behold, his details checked out. He was in fact reading this book that was two grades above his reading level on his own after struggling with the likes of Dr. Seuss! When I asked him how this could be, he calmly told me that he had never been given anything he wanted to read until "Warriors". He could read fine- well, even- for all of this time, he just chose not to read "boring" books. He went on to consume all of this series and its spinoffs. Moral of the story: sometimes all a reluctant reader needs is the "right" book to pique their interest. The "Warriors" series and all of the other Erin Hunter spinoffs offer a tempting mix for young readers: action, adventure, drama, realism, and endearing character development. Thank you "Warriors" for getting my son, who is now in his third year of college, off to a good start!

"The Clan may not be able to offer you such easy food or warmth. In the season of leaf-bare, nights in the forest can be cruel. The Clan will demand great loyalty and hard work. You will be expected to protect your Clan with your life if necessary. And there are many mouths to feed. But the rewards are great. You will remain a tom. You will be trained in the ways of the wild. You will learn what it is like to be a real cat. The strength and the fellowship of the Clan will always be with you, even when you hunt alone."

If you are a lover for cats and a thickening plot of adventure/action, this book is for you —— in fact, consider reading the entire series (which is still continuing to this day)! The story begins with our fellow house cat friend, named Rusty. Out of mere curiosity & determination, he wanders into the forest —— hence the title —— , abandoning his house-pet life.

Throughout this journey, he will acquire new friends & enemies among the four groups of cats, otherwise known as 'clans'. Rusty must live up to his clan's name in order to uphold their reputation & honor. Overall, this book maintains a consistent pace and provides uplifting character development. This book offers incredible plot along with enjoyable characters, one of my favorites if I do say so myself!

Into the Wild is the first book in a series of 6 books, Warriors: The Prophecies Begin. This part of the story covers how an ordinary house-cat named Rusty enters the forest, as the book title suggests, to catch a mouse, only to be confronted by a patrol of feral cats. They first tell him to leave, but after showing his interest in joining their Clan, they offer him training. Meanwhile, a sinister Shadowclan is planning something, something that only the subject of a prophecy received many moons ago can stop.

Into the Wild follows the adventures of a house cat named Rusty. One day, he is invited to join ThunderClan, one of the four Clans of wild cats living in the nearby forest. Rusty agrees, is taken into the Clan, and receives the new name Firepaw. Firepaw becomes friends with fellow apprentice Graypaw, but also encounters hostility due to his outside origin. The real reason, however, that Firepaw was asked to join the Clan, is due to the fact that there is a prophecy that states that "Fire alone can save our Clan". Firepaw encounters various adventures in his training to become a warrior, and receives his warrior name, Fireheart at the end of the novel.

INTO THE WILD is the story of a domestic cat, a kittypet named Rusty, who joins a community of feral cats known as ThunderClan. ThunderClan is one of several feral communities occupying adjoining territories; Rusty is drafted to train as a warrior to help protect the traditional borders of ThunderClan territory as other clans threaten to overrun them. This was an engrossing read, with believable characters and situations. My original fears that it would fall into cutesy-poo language -- talking cats, after all! -- and situations were unfounded. In fact I admire the author''s ability to create immediately understandable terms used by the cats -- sunhigh for noon, for example. INTO THE WILD is the first in the author''s Warriors series, and is followed by FIRE AND ICE, FOREST OF SECRETS, RISING STORM, A DANGEROUS PATH, and THE DARKEST HOUR. The series has also led to a sister series, Warriors: The New Prophecy, with three books to date: MIDNIGHT, MOONRISE, and DAWN.
