J. W. Jackson and his wife Zee live on Martha's Vineyard with their 2 children and 2 cats. Mr. Mahsimba comes from Zimbabwe to search for 2 ancient carved eagles, and J.W. helps him interview several wealthy local art collectors. One man is murdered, and he has ties to an unsolved murder from the past. The theft of ancient art is one part of the plot, and another part is the pleasant ambience of fishing, fine eating, and family time.
