I loved this! They are all great short stories that capture the situation. I would have like to read more of some of them. They were the prefect stories to read be for bed to wind down and go to sleep with a smile.

Being a huge Heyer fan, I cannot leave this opinion area empty of comments. This collection of short stories highlights Heyer's abilities to reveal personalities with richness even while encumbered with few chapter opportunities. The stories are relatively predictable, but, the sweetness is ever Heyer. If you enjoy the love-at-first-sight plot, then the book will please you. Few of Heyer's romance books have love-at-first-sight, and present themselves primarily as mysteries (e.g. The Toll Gate). Here, one can get a happy fix of these instant romances.
