Carbohydrates raise insulin levels, which causes between 50 and 75% of the population to pack on fat. The Insulin Resistance Diet shows readers how to combine controlled portions of carbohydrates with protein in an easy-to-follow ratio, and to wait at least three hours before eating more carbohydrates. The authors also provide balanced recipes, snack suggestions, and practical tips on living with this plan.

This is amazing book. For anyone who has had difficulty with weight loss and is addicted to carbs and sugars. It has changed my life and how I look at food. The best part is the "2 hour fat window". Also, no resitrictions on what you can eat which is great.
