This is a killer cd. The commenter before me is totally wrong. And why comment on his lyrics? What garbage are you talking man?
Steven Tyler is dubbed the Demon of Screamin for a reason. He is a brilliant and talented songwriter. He can play more instruments than you have fingers and toes. He is a rockstar in every sense of the word.
Aerosmith has been rocking since the 70s ... and they still "got it".
This is the best classic Aerosmith album. Well worth listening to.
ROCKS definately rocks it.

When Aerosmith started to get popular again in the late 80s, I thought of them as the poor man's American Rolling Stones. They have three songs I can kinda listen to, all because they have some other association: 1. "Walk This Way" (the Run DMC version) 2. "Toys in the Attic" (because R.E.M. covered it) 3. "Sweet Emotion" (for its use in "Dazed and Confused." Later I heard the New York Dolls and realized they were an inferior version of them. "Rocks" from 1976 is often considered one of their best and it's a decent, if generic, hard rock album. I don't mind the music, but I can't really stand Steven Tyler's voice or his inane lyrics. You can see this album's influence on Guns 'N' Roses, who toured with Aerosmith. Check out drummer Joey Kramer's hard-hitting autobiography "Hit Hard."
