1923 novel by Willa Cather, who is one of the 20th century's most underrated writers. "O Pioneers!" and "My Antonia" are her twin masterpieces, but "A Lost Lady" is a poignant and subtle novel about unrequited love and small town manners and gossip. Cather won the Pulitzer in 1923

Willa Cather is one of my favourite authors. This title along with My Antonia are two highly recommended books.
