Wow what an awful movie! I could see "Wilson" as a successful graphic novel with dry humor, but on the screen the character was unreal -- did not coalesce as believable. The character was undeveloped and superficial. Plus all the…

Just ok to below mediocre for me. The cast is great, but the story is hit or miss. Not a lot of funny parts. Coming off of a trip to Minneapolis, it was good to see some familiar surroundings in the movie.

Quirky movie and there was too much swearing (in my opinion). Having said that, Woody Harrelson was brilliant as usual. I found there was something endearing about Wilson and I was rooting for him all the way.

This is a dark comedy about a curmudgeon with true heart. If you're a fan of Daniel Clowes this is a great adaptation of his comic book of the same name. His other film adaptations include Ghost World and Art School Confidential, and this…

Depending on where a person is on their particular life journey, I can see this dark comedy appealing to some. Although I didn't find it memorable, I have seen worse.

Rubbish. The main character is completely contrived. The story itself isn't even interesting. Don't waste your time. The previews for the movie caught my attention on another DVD. Turns out the preview was the best part.

Based on the 2010 graphic novel of the same name by Daniel Clowes, this film doesn't quite cut the mustard, and I consider myself both a solid Woody Harrelson fan and a seasoned misanthrope. The problem is that WILSON is caught between…

Intelligent dark comedy, with two brilliant actors (Harrelson and Dern). I totally got Wilson's take on the world, his sarcasm, and the belief that there is really something good out there, if you look for it, and that life is always…
If you have a dry, sick sense of humor then you are going to love this movie. Its a guy and his dog and the world changing fast around him. He and his dog get home and announce: Honey I'm home, what's for dinner? Of course no one is…

I recommend Wilson only for fans of independent films. Even then, you should approach it with low expectations. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Daniel Clowes, and directed by…

Wilson is not a horrid movie but it's one that left me shrugging my shoulders. The character played by Woody Harrelson, and in every single scene, is neither realistic nor likable. Co-star, Laura Dern, is as good as always but plays…

One of the best comedies I've seen this year. Harrelson plays Wilson, a character who's irritating, funny, pathetic, and deserving of empathy by turn. Yes, his delivery is Woody-Allenesque but that does not detract from what he's saying.…

Wilson's the annoying guy with no filter who sits next to you on an empty train and starts a conversation when you want to be left alone. But somehow Woody Harrelson makes this character likeable.

Agreed with Niallhay that “Woody Harrelson trying to be Woody Allen” or talk like Allen. However, Harrelson did an excellent portrayal of Wilson, a “harmless” but annoying busybody who would barge into other people’s space and opined his…
