Charming as usual. A pleasant break from what I usually read. It's nice to go back to a series where I know all the characters already. I was a little disappointed in Clovis Andersen, though.

Another in this charming series. Going to a place where people are gracious and mannered is a lovely break. (I am not surprised that anyone expecting a detective or legal thriller would be disappointed and quite baffled. This series is…

Yes, they are slight and forgettable, but they are feel good books and Mma Ramotswe is always endearing.

Gentle, wise, excellent as usual. This had the added and unexpected interest of meeting a long-heard-about character one never anticipated. Really a pleasure.

I love mystery and detective books, but I couldn't get over the writing style and gave up after 80-something pages, before the mystery began. I don't think it's "quaint" to have characters talking nonsense over and over like simpletons. …

Delightful 357 page trip to Botswana, a beautiful country with people as dear as they appear in the book. In many African countries, a woman of 'traditional build' is a good thing as it means her husband is well off enough to take good…

Another wonderful read - though I must say the description here doesn't have much to do with the actual contents...discipinary problem at her daughter's school? other than one bedtime conversation, that isn't a case she works on that I…
