I hate this series. There is way too many books, and the never ending, tiring cliffhangers. Too many flipping clues to solve. >:(
Very intriguing start to cool series. It is not the best in the series, and certainly not the worst. The last couple of books were the worst (Amy fell in love with the wrong person and ended up having her ex-boyfriend die for her even though she really didn't love him anymore and he thought she did). Also, one of the middling books was pretty bad (Amy was falling in love with her COUSIN; like, what the heck?!). Altogether, 'The 39 Clues' is not something I would read again, but it *was* entertaining and overall pretty good throughout. There was a lot of unevenness and ups and downs (probably due to the fact that each book was written by a different author).
this is the first book of the 39 clues.i read the first ten pages and i loved it💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
This book was an excellent start to a horrible series. This book starts out the series great and when I read it for the first time I was excited for reading the series. However, the book series continues to use the same formula for all its books, it gets extremely boring after the 5th book. This book is very good, but I would give up reading on this series, it's not worth it. The only thing I link about this series is the multiple authors, shame this idea went to waste.
Rick Riordan wove a very exciting story in "The Maze of Bones", one that in my opinion is better than his Percy Jackson series. If he had written the entire series, it would have been amazing, but as things were it gradually went downhill. I was disappointed by Peter Lerangis' contributions to the series, and feel that the others, while enjoyable (particularly when Patrick Carman and Margaret Peterson Haddix are responsible), don't come close to Riordan's level of quality. He managed to mix in all of the teams in a fast-paced, adventurous chase to find the Cahill family's most carefully guarded secret. And, in my opinion, the various series-within-the-series dragged it out much too far. If Rick Riordan had written them all, the quantity of the books would have been much less, but the quality would have been much, much better.
This book is fantastic. I loved it when I was a kid and I still love it now! Definitely catches your attention and leaves you wanting more. Great read!
I really enjoyed reading this book, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes good books.
The book “The Maze of Bones” is part of a series called the 39 clues. I found this book very interesting, because this introduces the series and has lots of action. Overall, I would recommend this book to everybody who is interested in clue hunts.
I haven't read this series for a very long time I stopped like 3 years ago, i'm surprised that from a long time this book feels... different from when I last read it, but still its very good!
This book by Rick Riordan is the greatest start to a book series ever... Incredible... The rest or the books must be amazing.
READ THIS SERIES. STUNNING!
This book series is awesome!
At first I thought it's was so boring, then i read 5 pages and thought THIS IS AWSOME!!! At last I read the whole series and am hoping for more books of the 39 clues
I didn't think this book was going to be that good. Then i decided to give to give this book a try cause like everyone says "you can't judge a book by it's cover".After i read the first few pages I got so interested I couldn't put this book down. Then after a while I was done with this book i was astonished! This book was one of the best books I have ever read and now i have decided that i will read the entire series!!!
I decided to read this book to my 9 year old daughter in the evenings, so we could talk about it together... I'll admit I didn't expect to really like it but was wrong! This books was a fun read all the while interesting enough to keep me reading...my daughter loved it a well and has turned into great conversations about Benjamin Franklin, his inventions and historical events. We are looking forward to read book 2 together as well :)
