This was the first Sophie Kinsella book I've ever read and it turned me into an instant fan! I made the mistake of reading on a day when we were slow at work, because I'm sure my coworkers were getting tired of hearing me burst into…
It’s fun to imagine waking up one day to a glamorous new life. I found myself enchanted by the story of Lexi uncovering all the fun new things her life had in store.
The book felt lighthearted with witty characters. Readers who are drawn…

A funny read, and honest take on looking back at our past and confronting or accepting the difference. It was a good break from the Shopaholic series to experience Kinsella's wit, and humour in her writing. I had a pretty good laugh in…

A quick, fun read! Some truly laugh-out-loud moments. I do recognize a lot of similarities between this book and What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty, though. I think I like the latter a bit better. But this one was a nice, light read that…

This is one of the funniest books I've ever read, and it's just entertaining from cover to cover. I love Sophie Kinsella and this book is perfect for young and older girls and women, because it's just a great laugh all the way through.…

Another good read from Sophie Kinsella. The issue of amnesia is handled in a way that offers humour and sensitivity. Forgetting the last three years and awaking into a wealthy though emotionally impoverished life, the story presents many…
As a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella’s books, this stand alone was a must read for me. I must say, it didn't become a new favorite book or anything but it was a good read all together. The story revolves around twenty five year old Lexi Smart,…

Lexi Smart wakes up in a hospital and thinks she's there because of a minor accident in 2004. The truth is, she's "memorily challenged." In other words, she is there because of a car accident in 2007 and has lost her memory of the last…
"Twenty-five-old Lexi faces some unusual problems when she wakes up in a hospital. She's actually 28 -- and doesn't remember anything of the preceding three years, during which she apparently married an attractive millionaire, embarked on…

Review from 2008: An absorbing and quick read - I finished this in one evening. Not as funny as "Can You Keep A Secret?" and that may account for my vague sense of dissatisfaction. I also felt that the transition from regular girl to…

My second favorite affair book (the first being Heart of the Matter by Emily Giffin). I just love the wit, the humor and the intensity of Jon and Lexi's relationship.
Oh, and I adore the sunflower idea. :)

I loved this book!!! It was a great chick read. I loved it because Lexi has such a perfect life that everybody would love 2 have. But it's so unexpected that it's not all she wanted............
While I have to admit that this book was an entertainingly silly read, I couldn't find a single redeeming point or anything I liked at all about it in retrospect. The characters are annoying (especially the husband, and Jon). The plot is…
